The problem

Hard work is not the issue. Clarity is.

01

Your portfolio has work, but the story does not show your level.

02

You keep receiving different feedback and no longer know what to prioritise.

03

You are preparing for an interview, career move, or important presentation.

04

You want honest senior-level judgment, not another generic checklist.

What you leave with

Diagnosis before direction.

A focused session designed to create movement—not dependency.

01

See the real problem

Understand what is actually weakening your portfolio, case study, interview story, or career direction.

02

Know what matters next

Separate high-impact changes from endless polishing, conflicting advice, and unnecessary work.

03

Move with a clear plan

Leave with written priorities and concrete next actions you can use immediately.

How it works

One session. Three clear steps.

1

Share the context

Send your portfolio, case study, target role, and the one challenge you most want to solve.

2

Join the diagnostic

We examine the work together, uncover the underlying gap, and identify the strongest direction.

3

Act on the priorities

You receive a concise written summary with your highest-impact next steps.

Why Noel

Experience across the work—and the moments around it.

I have spent more than 15 years moving from graphic design to UX/UI, product design, and design systems. I understand both the craft and the harder part: communicating your decisions, contribution, and value to other people.

Mentee feedback

What changed after the conversation.

Quotes are lightly edited for clarity while preserving the original meaning. Current job titles provide context and are not presented as outcomes of the mentoring.

Featured success story

From interview uncertainty to an offer—and a stronger negotiating position.

Before

Amy was preparing for an important product-design interview and wanted to communicate her experience with greater structure and confidence.

What we worked on

We diagnosed the gaps in her answers, practised practical interview methods, and later worked through salary positioning and negotiation.

Result

She progressed to an offer and reported feeling substantially more confident in both job hunting and her day-to-day work.

“Your practical interview methods and negotiation skills gave me so much confidence in both my daily work and job hunting.”

FAQ

Before you book.

Is this only for portfolio reviews?+

No. We can focus on a case study, interview story, career direction, positioning, or another clearly defined design-career challenge.

Will you redesign or rewrite my portfolio?+

No. The diagnostic identifies the underlying issues and gives you a prioritised direction. Hands-on revision support can be discussed separately.

Is this long-term mentorship?+

No. This is a focused one-off session. If structured ongoing support would genuinely help, I will recommend an appropriate option afterward.

Can you guarantee that I will get a job?+

No ethical mentor can promise a hiring outcome. I can help you improve the clarity, credibility, and focus of how you present your work.
